STATE COLLEGE, Pa..—The Columbia men’s golf team will compete this weekend at the 42nd annual Rutherford Intercollegiate Golf Invitational. The annual event will be played on the par-71, 7,202-yard Penn State Blue Golf Course as the teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday.

The course is available today for practice rounds and each team will attend a dinner at 5 p.m. Round one begins Saturday at 7:30 a.m., while round two will be played approximately two hours after the conclusion of round one.

 

Columbia is one 12 teams competing in the field including host Penn State, Binghamton, Cleveland State, Eastern Michigan, Dayton, Georgetown, Loyola, Md., Oakland, Rutgers, Seton Hall and West Virginia.

 

Columbia will tee off at 7:48 a.m. ET.

 

The event is the fourth of five spring events for Columbia men’s golf as the Lions will travel to Elverson, Pa. to compete in The Ivy League Championship, scheduled for April 20-22.
