CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—In a key Ivy League women’s tennis matchup, Harvard claimed a close 4-3 victory over the Columbia women’s tennis team Saturday afternoon at the Beren Tennis Facility. With the loss, Columbia drops 10-7 overall and 2-2 in Ivy League play, while Harvard improves to 4-0 in league play and 12-8 overall.
Columbia started out with a 1-0 lead after claiming the doubles point. Senior Adi Milstein and first-year Christie Wan defeated Harvard’s Annika Ringblom and Anna Li 6-1 and junior Andrea Kevakian and first-year Paulina Ferrari teamed for a 6-4 win over Harvard’s Neha Gupta and Lexi Milunovich. Milstein and Wan won their 20th match of the season and improve to 20-9 overall, while Kevakian and Ferrari competed as a duo for the first time since mid-October.

Columbia plays at Dartmouth tomorrow. First serve is at 1 p.m. in Hanover. The Lions close their season at home next weekend by facing Brown (Saturday, April 21) and Yale (Sunday, April 22) at Dick Savitt Tennis Center. Both matches begin at 1 p.m.
