NEW YORK It may be spring, but for those fans thinking fall, Columbia Football season tickets are now on sale.

“TRUE BLUE and season ticket holders should have their renewal notices in hand”, said Barry Neuberger, Associate Athletics Director for Sports Marketing. “We are holding ticket prices for the second year in a row and adding an alternative level of TRUE BLUE ticket pricing for those who wish to take advantage of that package.”

A TRUE BLUE ticket package, which consists of a premium chairback seat for football, men's basketball and women’s basketball costs $265 (normally $315 if purchased separately) and also includes media guides for all three teams, a lapel pin, discounts at the Lion Store and invitations to special events. In addition, a TRUE BLUE package of reserved bench seats will cost $150 ($195 if purchased separately) and include all benefits.

“TRUE BLUE has become a terrific way for fans to show their loyalty and support for all three teams and secure good locations with one-stop shopping,” said Neuberger. “This is the time to lock in your seats for the 2009-10 seasons.”

Columbia’s home football schedule opens with Central Connecticut State on Saturday, September 26.  Homecoming is set for October 17 vs. Penn and games against Yale (Oct. 31), Harvard (Nov. 7) and Brown (Nov. 21) round out the home slate. The men’s and women’s basketball home schedules will feature a total of 25 dates.
