At Kelowna Christian School: Entered her first race, a 3000-meter road race, when she was five, and has gone on to become a ranking Canadian and world-level runner ... runner-up in the Canadian Junior Cross Country Nationals in November, 2003 ... won four British Columbia School Sports XC titles, and was chosen British Columbia Athletics Junior Female XC Athlete of the Year in 2002, 2003, and 2004 ... as a member of the Kelowna Track & Field Club, competed for Team B.C. at numerous championships, including three track and XC nationals, and two Canadian Junior Championships ... won the Canadian Junior 1500 meters in July, 2003 ...in 2003, competed for Team Canada at the IAAF World XC Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the World Youth T&F Championships in Quebec ...won four British Columbia high school T&F championships, twice winning the provincial 3000-meter titles ... also played volleyball ...
