Roar-ee the Lion made his Columbia debut in fall 2005 and became an immediate fan favorite. Roar-ee’s name was determined through online voting - with fans all over the world participating. Roar-ee is present at all home football and men’s and women’s basketball contests. Roar-ee also appears at rallies, on-campus events, and off-campus corporate events.
