2016 2nd Team Indoor All-American 1 Mile
2016: (XC) Began the season at the Stony Brook Invitational where he took 7th overall completing the 8K race in 25:54.7 … Finished the Paul Short Run in 24:19.3, coming in 38th and assisting the Lions to a fifth place team finish … Took 15th at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, posting a time of 24:13.5 as he helped Columbia secure a third place finish … Finished 35th at the Northeast Regionals with a 10K time of 31:34.0, as the team took fifth place.
2015-16: Earned second team indoor track & Field All-American honors in the 1 Mile run ... Became the second runner in Columbia history to eclipse the four-minute mile, going 3:58.98 during the Fastrack National Elite (Feb. 12) ... Won the indoor 1 Mile at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships (Feb. 28) ... Part of the school record 4x800m relay team at the Penn Relays that took second in 7:20.41 (April 29) ... Finished second and earned All-Ivy honors in the 1 Mile run at the Ivy League Outdoor Championships (May 8).
2014-15: Clocked a 25:10 at the Paul Short Run (Oct. 4) for a season best ... Part of the Ivy League Outdoor Champion 4x800m relay team that clocked a 7:22.83 ... Competed in the 1,500m run at the NCAA East Prelims, qualifying with a season best of 3:44.69.
2013-14: Member of the Ivy League champion outdoor 4x800m relay squad ... Earned second team All-Ivy League honors with a runner-up finish as a member of the indoor 4x800m relay squad ... Won the 1,000m run at the Lions Invitational with a time of 2:25.84.
High School: Napolitano was named team captain for both his junior and senior seasons in cross country and track & field at Red Bank Catholic. He earned first team all-county, first team all-conference and first team all-state honors in Cross Country as a senior.
On the track, Napolitano won the New Jersey Meet of Champions in both indoor and outdoor 1600m run in his final season. He compiled first team all-county, first team all-conference and first team all-state honors in outdoor track as well. Naplitano’s senior season was a huge build on his junior season when he was named first team all-county, first team all-conference and second team all-state in cross country, indoor and outdoor Track.
