NEW YORK - Fifteen new recruits will join the vaunted Columbia women's cross country and track and field team for the 2012-13 season. The group represents the states of California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Georgia, Illinois and Maryland. There is also a student-athlete who hails from the United Kingdom.

Below is a snapshot of the class which will boost Columbia's cross country team, which finished second at the 2011 Ivy League Heptagonals and its track and field teams. Columbia captured its first Ivy League title in women's indoor track and field team in 2012.
