Fall 2011: Won the consolation bracket of the C singles draw at the Princeton/Farnsworth Invitational, beating players from Binghamton, Cornell and Penn State … won the C singles bracket at the Columbia Classic, dropping only one set in the whole tournament, beating players from FDU, Marist, St. John’s and Penn … also competed at the ITA Northeast Regionals and the USTA National Tennis Center Invitational. 

Spring 2011: Went 12-9 in singles overall, including 4-3 in Ivy League play, in the Nos. 5&6 singles spots … went 4-10 in doubles, playing with brother, Cyril Bucher … had Ivy League wins over players from Harvard, Yale, Penn and Princeton … notched non-conference singles wins over George Washington, Boston College, Binghamton, Army, Stony Brook, Texas-Arlington, Illinois State and St. John’s.

Fall 2010: Had wins over players from St. John’s and Columbia at Princeton Invitational … won his first round match over a player from George Washington at the USTA Men’s collegiate Invitational … advanced to the finals of the B singles draw at the Columbia Classic, beating players from St. John’s, Marist and Penn. 

At Kantosschule: Played for TC Lido Lucern Club team, National League C.

Personal: Son of Sandra and Erwin Bucher … brother, Cyril '13CC, is a member of the Columbia men's tennis team … enrolled in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences … plans to major in Mechanical Engineering.
