Women's Lacrosse Coaching Staff Welcomes Lauren Kahn

NEW YORK – For the upcoming 2014-15 campaign,the Columbia women’s lacrosse coaching staff has added a new assistant coach in Lauren Kahn, as announced by head coach Liz Kittleman Jackson.

"We're so excited to have Lauren join the Columbia Lacrosse family, ” said Kittleman Jackson. “Coming from a Big East program having had a very successful playing career, Lauren brings unique insight to both ends of the field and an innate positivity that will be contagious to all those around her."

Kahn arrives to Morningside Heights fresh off a stellar career on field for the Connecticut Huskies women’s lacrosse team. Kahn was a two-time IWLCA All-America selection for the Huskies and was a three-time All-Big East selection, including Big East Midfielder of the Year honors in 2012.

The New York native was one of the programs most prolific offensive weapons leading the team in points for back-to-back seasons in 2012 and 2013. Kahn finished her career at Connecticut with the second-most points (216) and fourth-most goals (143) in program history.
