Hanover, N.H. - The Columbia women's lacrosse team drops to 1-6, 0-4 in the Ivy League, as they fell to 10th-ranked Dartmouth on Saturday, March 24. First-year Katie Angulo and Junior Kacie Johnson both scored two goals to led the Lions but the Big Green's quick hitting offense proved to be much as they handed Columbia a 15-4 loss.

Johnson put the Lions on the board with the game's first goal at 28:48 to take an early 1-0 lead. The Big Green responded with an impressive offensive surge scoring 10 unanswered goals, sparked by a score from Sara Plumb at 23:33 in the first half.

Kristen Goldberg paced the Big Green with three scores in the first half. She was joined by Plumb, and Lindsey Allard, who both tallied a pair of goals in the first half. With five different players scoring for Dartmouth, they held a 10-1 lead at the break.

Dartmouth started the second half much like they did the first, scoring five consecutive goals to push the lead to 15-1. Columbia closed the game with three goals behind two straight goals from Angulo. Angulo scored her first goal of the season at 7:05 in the second half and added a second off the assist from Johnson at 5:30. Johnson also scored her second goal of the game at 3:36 as the Lions fell 15-4.

The Lions return to action on Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m. as they host Iona at Robert K. Kraft Field.
