BOSTON – Columbia's Pat Lowery and the Brewster Whitecaps had the opportunity to take the field at Fenway Park last week and work out on the home field of the Boston Red Sox.

Most of the position players – and more than a few of their pitching brethren – from the Cape Cod Baseball League made their way up Route 3 on Thursday, June 30 to take part in a workout on the field at Fenway.

In seven appearances for the Whitecaps this summer, Lowery has posted a 2-0 record with a 3.52 earned run average.
