Coach Mangurian on Hamilton Garner: Has moved into a leadership role, leading by example. Had every reason to fade away, didn’t play to his potential last season. Stayed focused and recommitted himself to the good of the team. Needs to improve his on-line blocking, improve coverage recognition and route running. Had too many drops a year ago. I trust this guy; he has overcome and refused to make excuses. His teammates see it also. Has a lot of work to do.

2012: Started all 10 games … finished the season third on the team with 28 receptions for 336 yards and one touchdown ... caught three passes for 71 yards against Lehigh … racked up a season-high 87 yards at Penn … roped in a season-high five receptions for 31 yards against Dartmouth … caught three passes, including a touchdown grab against Cornell.

2011: Played in all ten games ... was named All-Ivy honerable meantion ... totaled 24 catches for 339 yards and six touchdowns ... led team with 14.1 yards-per-catch average ... caught three balls for 54 yards and two tocuchdowns in week three against Sacred Heart.

2010: Saw junior varsity action.

At Duluth: Two-year letterwinner and starter for the Wildcats ... named preseason all-state and academic all-state prior to senior year by Georgia High School Football Magazine ... Academic Athlete of the Month by In The Game Magazine ... WSB-TV Athlete of the Week ... Gwinnett Touchdown Club's Tight End of the Year in 2009 ... Gwinnett Daily Post first-team all-county and all-region as a senior ... honorable mention all-county and all-region as junior ... also played basketball and ran track.

Personal: Economics major.
