Six Newcomers Make up Men's Basketball's Incoming Class of 2016
NEW YORK - Six newcomers will join the Columbia men's basketball team for the 2012-13 season, including four guards and two forwards.
Isaac Cohen, a 6-4 guard from Florida, Zach En'Wezoh, a 6-8 forward from the state of Washington, Brad Gilson, a 6-6 forward from Virginia, Maodo Lo, a 6-3 guard from Germany via Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Massachusetts, Grant Mullins, a 6-3 guard from Ontario, Canada and Paddy Quinn, a 6-1 guard from nearby Bergen County make up the incoming class.
"I'm really excited about our incoming freshmen. They value the things we value - a great team attitude, great work ethic and most importantly, they really want to be at Columbia," head coach Kyle Smith said.
"We have some perimeter players that do the things that we value - they're able to dribble, pass, shoot, drive and defend. We're excited about these guys and excited about the season ahead."

Zach En'Wezoh - F - 6-8 - 220 - Kennewick, Wash. - Kamiakin
At Kamiakin: Three-year letterwinner ... captain as a senior ... named Big 9 Offense first team and Big 9 Defense first team as a senior ... also selected as the Big 9 Defensive Player of the Year as a senior ... team was district champions and finished fifth in the state in the 3A WIAA division ... team finished third in the state his junior year ... played AAU ball with the Northwest Panthers ... eyeing a major in economics ... has three older brothers ... National Honor Society member ... student body president as a senior.
Brad Gilson - F - 6-6 - 195 - Round Hill, Va. - Woodgrove

Grant Mullins - G - 6-3 - 175 - Burlington, Ontario, Canada - Notre Dame
