Men’s basketball rising junior Alex Rosenberg is in Israel to play with the USA Basketball Team that will compete at the 19th Maccabiah Games from July 19-30.

Rosenberg will be joined by fellow Ivy Leaguers Zack Rosen, formerly of Penn, and Cornell’s Eitan Chemerinski.

The games are an international Jewish athletic event held in Israel every four years. The games are open to Jewish athletes, as well as Israeli athletes regardless of religion.

Team USA will open up pool play of the tournament on July 19 against Argentina and are joined in Group A with the likes of Australia, Germany, Guinea-Bissau and Russia.
