PRINCETON, N.J. – Columbia men’s basketball junior Alex Rosenberg earned Ivy League Co-Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after a 20-point performance against Cornell on Saturday. Rosenberg split the award with Justin Sears of Yale.

The Short Hills, N.J., product shot 7-of-13 from the floor and came up with a pair of key old fashioned 3-point plays in the first half while the Big Red were making a run to keep the Lions in front. Rosenberg has now reached double-figures in scoring in 13 consecutive games and is ranked sixth in the Ancient Eight, checking in at 13.9 points per game.

Additionally, Columbia is 5-0 since he has been inserted into the starting lineup.

Sophomore Isaac Cohen was selected for the Weekly Honor Roll after posting 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

The Lions will complete their home-and-home series with Cornell next Saturday, Jan. 25 in Ithaca, N.Y. Tip-off is slated for noon on the Ivy League Digital Network.
