“Our group was very determined to dictate the flow of the game today. We were going to make sure win, lose, or draw that we played our game tonight,” said Head Coach Kevin McCarthy.
At the 10 minute mark, the Lions displayed solid ball movement in the box to deliver the game’s first goal. Natalie Melo stayed focus on the left side to deliver a quick pass to Alexa Yow who found Leon for the score with a rocket shot from the top of the box.
