PRINCETON, N.J. - The Columbia women's soccer team received three selections to All-Ivy League teams, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon. Senior Beverly Leon earned a spot on the second team, while fellow seniors Natalie Melo and Shannon FitzPatrick gained honorable mention status.

For the second consecutive season, Leon garnered a spot as a forward on the second-team after leading the Lions in points with a career-high 24 this season. The senior was also the team leader in goals with 9, which stands fourth best in the Ivy League. She tallied three game winners in her final year and added six assists.

Melo served as a constant playmaker for Columbia throughout the season to earn honorable mention as a forward. The Kissimmee, Fla. native, led the team in assists with seven on the year, a tally that ties for first in the Ivy League. She went for 15 points including a career-high four goals in her senior season.

On the defensive side, FitzPatrick was selected to the honorable mention team for the Lions. Her veteran leadership anchored a Columbia defense that produced six shutout games. She also led the Lions defense to a remarkable 180 straight minutes of shutout play in wins over Fairleigh Dickinson (9/22/13) and Albany (9/20/13).
