Was second on the team with 16 runs scored ... Got her first career start against Saint Peter's (4/16) in a sweep of the Peacocks ... Went 3-for-4 in game two with three runs and a stolen base ... Had a 2-for-4 outing against Cornell (4/19 Game 2) with two runs and an outfield assist to home plate from center field.
Prior to Columbia: A three-sport athlete in high school, competing in track & field and basketball as well as softball at Ankeny High School… Named third team all-state her senior season, as well as garnering all-district and all-division honors … Earned first team eastern division and second team all Central Iowa Metro League honors her junior season … A part of the Hawkette team that won a 5A state championship in 2012 … A four-year letterwinner on the diamond … Recipient of the prestigious Bernie Saggau award.
