2016: Played in 26 games, starting in 15 … Finished Ivy League play with a .296 batting average after going 8-for-27 in 10 of the 18 conference games … Earned first collegiate home run on the road against Cornell (April 16) … Picked up first career triple the following day in the series finale against Cornell, going 2-for-3 with a RBI in the game … Also hit a home run against Princeton (April 23).

Personal: The Alexandria, Virginia, product spent time defensively at catcher and third base in high school, earning first team All-District and first team All-Conference honors throughout her career ... A scholar-athlete at Hayfield, Schipper won first place at her schools science fair three times, including a project that experimented with ways to prevent commotio cordis, a lethal heart disruption, in athletes ... Also spent time interning for the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, and was the editor in chief of her high school newspaper ... Daughter of Cheri and William, Schipper has an older sister, Victoria, and a younger sister, Erica.
