Men's Golf Tied for Eighth at Wolfpack Spring Open

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Columbia men's golf team concluded the opening day of the Wolfpack Spring Open tied for eighth place, shooting a team score of 306.
The Lions were led by sophomore Brandon Jowers who will begin the final round Sunday tied for 13th after carding a 73. First-year Harrison Shih completed the opening round three strokes back of Jowers, tied for 35th.
Andrew Kim wrapped up the first round with a 77, and will start Sunday tied for 45th. Seniors Ford Fischer and Michael Yiu rounded out the Columbia lineup, shooting an 80 and 81, respectively.
Stephen LaRouere is representing the Lions as an individual, shooting a 75 to finish Saturday tied for 30th.
The Wolfpack Spring Open hosted by N.C State will wrap up with the final 18 holes of play Sunday.
