NEW YORK – Head men’s golf coach Rich Mueller has announced the 2014-15 schedule, which includes seven regular season tournaments prior to the Ivy League Championship at the end of April 2015.

The Lions will be in action four times in the fall beginning with the Doc Gimmler Invitational hosted by St. John’s at Bethpage Red on September 12-13.

Early fall competition continues on September 26-27 when Columbia hosts the Tuxedo Autumn Invitational at The Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park, New York. The event is slated to feature 10 teams with 36 holes set to be played on Friday, Sep. 26 and the final 18 on Saturday, Sep. 27.

Two tournaments are on the docket for October, starting with a trip to Lemont, Illinois to compete in the John Dallio Invitational at Ruffled Feathers Golf Course on October 4-5. The fall concludes with a visit to Bryan, Texas to compete in The Miramont Invitational hosted by Rice at the Miramont Country Club on October 13-14.

Spring action will pick up on March 29-30 with the Lions on the links at the Country Club of Landfall for the Seahawk Invitational hosted by UNCW. Moving into April, Columbia will head to Poplar Grove Golf Club in Amherst, Virginia to compete in the Liberty Invitational on the 10-11.

The regular season will conclude on April 18-19 with another trip to North Carolina for the Wolfpack Invitational hosted by NC State at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course.

Columbia will look to defend its Ivy League Championship from April 24-26 at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Saucon Valley is also set to host the USGA Mid-Amateur this September.
