Three Women’s Golfers Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – On Monday, July 1, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced the selections for the Division I, II and III All-American Scholars with three Columbia student-athletes earning a selection to the Division I team.

Senior Ashley Zambito, junior Jane Dong and sophomore Lisa Combs all posted GPA’s above the minimum cumulative mark of 3.50. The recently graduated Zambito and Dong are economics majors, while Combs is studying statistics.

In total, 644 women’s golfers were selected to one of the three teams. Fellow Ivy League schools, Dartmouth, Yale and Princeton, were represented on the Division I team with five, two and one selection, respectively.
