Women’s Golf in Fifth After Second Round at the Ivy League Championships

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – Senior Michelle Piyapattra moved into the top-10 on the individual leaderboard and Columbia improved 16 strokes from its first round, but the women’s golf team will head into the final round at Baltusrol Golf Club in fifth place after shooting a 300 Saturday.

Piyapattra posted an even-par 72 second round score that included five birdies to move into a tie for eighth place.

First-year Camilla Vik is one stroke back of her teammate in a tie for 11th after she turned in a two-over 74 that included a pair of birdies. Classmate Rachel Shi is tied for 16th following her second round tally of 80, while Monique Ishikawa is tied for 18th after shooting a 77. Jackie Chulya matched Ishikawa with a 77 and is tied for 26th after two rounds.

The final round from Baltusrol will commence at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Golf Stat will have live stats HERE.
