SPRINGFIELD, N.J. – The Columbia women’s golf team concluded the 2014 Ivy League Championships Sunday at Baltusrol Golf Club with a third-place finish, moving up two spots from where it started the final round. 

Senior Michelle Piyapattra took the opportunity to add one more accolade to her illustrious Columbia career, earning first team All-Ivy League honors for the third time, tying for fourth place. Only eight Ivy League women's golfers before Piyapattra have earned first-team honors three times in their careers. Piyapattra (80-72-75—227) carded three birdies and nine pars on the day to finish with a 75.

First-year Camilla Vik (79-74-80—233) concluded her first conference tournament performance on Sunday tied for 11th after scoring an 80 in the final round. Sophomore Monique Ishikawa (81-77-80—238) also cracked the top-20, finishing tied for 19th after she shot an 80 in the third round.

Columbia had all five of its competitors place in the top-25, as first-years Rachel Shi (76-80-85—241) and Jackie Chulya (87-77-78—242) closed out the event in 22nd and 23rd, respectively. Shi recorded an 85 on the final day, while Chulya shot a 78 to cap the tournament.
