PRINCETON, N.J. - The Columbia women's golf team finished the final round of the Princeton Invitational in third place after shooting a team score of 308-300-294--902 on Sunday at Springdale Golf Club.

As a team, the Lions shot a low round score of 294 on the final day by seven shots.

Michelle Piyapattra led the Columbia contingent through all three rounds. After carding a 72 for par in the first round, the senior carded a 73 in round two and a low-round 70 on day three to finish in second place, just three strokes behind winner Tiffany Lim of Harvard.

Lim shot a 66 in the first round, marking the lowest round ever at the Princeton Invitational dating back to 1997.

Jackie Chulya (77-71-74--222) trimmed six strokes off of her first round score to finish sixth.

Columbia, Delaware, Harvard, Lehigh, Penn, Princeton, St. John's and Seton Hall comprised the eight-team field competing on the par-72, 6,131-yard course.
