ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Junior Lynda Kwon shot a team-best round of 75 on Sunday, and the Columbia University women's golf team concluded play at the Wolverine Invitational, hosted by the University of Michigan.

The Lions closed the highly-competitive tournament in 16th place at 968. First-year Michelle Piyapattra was the top finisher for Columbia, closing in a tie for 21st place at 231. Kwon concluded play at 241, while first-year Jane Dong was three strokes behind at 244. Junior Robin Lee shot 255 over three rounds, while sophomore Ashley Zambito was the fifth and final competitor for Columbia at 259.

Florida International won the team title by 11 strokes over Iowa State, and claimed the top two individual spots. Paula Hurtado finished the 54-hole tournament at 222 to earn medalist honors, and teammate Cristina Marin closed in second place at 224.

Columbia will return to the links on Sept. 18-19 for the Princeton Fall Invitational.
