South Carolina leads all teams at even-par 288.
Piyapattra will open Friday’s second round with the same playing partners from Thursday in Katie Mundy of Florida International and Laura Wearn of Furman. *** NOTE: Due to morning frost on Penn State's Blue Course, the second round tee times have been pushed pack 30 minutes. Piyapattra's group will now start from the first hole at 1:15 p.m.***
After starting the first round from the 10th hole with an 8:25 a.m. tee time, Piyapattra was strong out of the gate, shooting even-par 36 on her first nine holes with a birdie on the par-5, 531-yard 12th hole. She struggled on the front nine, carding a 6-over 42.
