Piyapattra was a force to be reckoned with in the month of April, becoming just the second golfer in Columbia women's golf history to earn medalist honors at the Ivy League Championship. The first-year phenom also recorded a win at the Fifth Annual Roar-EE Invitational, as she fought through brutal weather conditions to take the rain-shortened event by two strokes. At the conference tournament, Piyapattra truly proved her mettle as she recorded the best individual score on both Friday and Saturday, then fired a career-best round of three-under par 69 on the final day en route to a 10-stroke victory. The win also gives Piyapattra the opportunity to qualify for the LPGA Shoprite Classic in Atlantic City, N.J. in late May.
