NEW YORK -- Columbia will be well-represented by some current and former Lions on the world's biggest sports stage when the 2012 Olympics begin in just over one month.

In Episode 16 of "Inside Columbia Athletics," host Dalen Cuff interviews track alum Erison Hurtault '07CC, Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Willy Wood, head fencing coach Michael Aufrichtig and head men's lightweight rowing coach Scott Alwin.

In Part 1 of this episode, Dalen chats with Hurtault who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and will represent his home country of Dominica once again at the 2012 London Olympics. We also catch up with Willy Wood, who mentored Hurtault and fellow Olympic qualifyer Lisa Stublic '06CC (Croatia, women's marathon). Columbia track & field has three alums set to compete in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Ore., in Delilah DiCrescenzo '05CC, Liam Boylan-Pett '08CC and Kyle Merber '12CC.
