Laura Baden joined the Columbia athletic training staff in the summer of 2010. Baden works primarily with the Lions' volleyball and wrestling teams, and all three of Columbia's rowing programs.
Prior to coming to Columbia, Baden was a graduate assistant at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, N.Y. There, Baden worked with the St. Thomas Aquinas club ice hockey squads, as well as the varsity sports.
Baden also served as an athletic trainer at Nyack College, where she worked with men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball, cross country and women's soccer.
Prior to coming to New York, Baden worked as a student athletic trainer at Anderson University. She assisted with the football team in 2009, and previously helped out with the men's soccer and track & field programs.
In the summer of 2007, Baden worked as an intern for the Detroit Shock of the Women's National Basketball Association.
Baden received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Anderson University in May 2010.
