NEW YORK - The Columbia archery team will host its annual Friends and Family Day, Saturday, December 1 to kick-off the 2012-13 season. The free archery clinic will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the LeFrak Gymnasium on the campus of Barnard College, located at 117th and Broadway.

Come try the Olympic sport of archery and learn from the three-time national champion Lions (2011, 2008, 2005). This open community event welcomes all ages along with Columbia alumni, friends, family, and fans.

"We really look forward to this event each year," head coach Derek Davis said. "It's not only a chance to showcase our skills, but an opportunity to share that experience with the community. It's always a fun time for everyone."

Fans are encouraged to visit the Lions Store located at Saturday's event to get all the latest Columbia gear.
