NEW YORK – Columbia archery head coach Derek Davis was selected by USA Archery as one of the premiere coaches to assist in its inaugural summer of High Performance Camps, to be held this week at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center.

The High Performance JOAD camps are being implemented as a fantastic opportunity for archers and are designed to serve as a bridge between the Regional JOAD camps and the Junior Dream Team camps.  These camps are intended specifically to introduce the major concepts of the National Training System to archers with one year, or more, of archery experience.

From August 2-10, the three-time U.S. Intercollegiate Champion coach will also take the helm of the Jr. U.S. Archery Team as they travel toOntario, Canada to compete in the 2013 Canadian Archery National Championships.
