Update: Archery Wins 2013 National Championship

CEDAR CITY, Utah - In an exciting match against CSU Long Beach on Saturday, May 18, Columbia prevailed with a final score of 7-4 to win the 2013 Archery National Championship at the USCA Outdoor USIAC Championships.

The Lions received a bye in the 1/8th round and went on to defeat Atlantic Cape Community College 4-0. Columbia  triumphed over James Madison University 5-4 in the 1/4 finals and found its groove in the gold medal match jumping out to an early lead only to never look back.

In the women's recurve division, Sarah Bernstein won the individual bronze medal to lead the Lions by defeating CSU Long Beach's Kalie Sabajo. Bernstein was joined by teammates Tiffany Kim and Grace Kim in the top eight medal finishes to earn both All-American and All-Academic honors.
