Head Coach Derek Davis Back With USA Archery This Summer

NEW YORK – This summer, Columbia archery head coach Derek Davis will continue his involvement as one of the premiere coaches with USA Archery. As apart of the International Team Staffing (ITS) program, Davis will coach at two events abroad over the next two months.

From July 17-20, Davis will serve as the USA head coach for The Pan American Olympic Festival in Mexico, which also includes attending a series of coaching seminars. The team will be made up of Olympians Brady Ellison and Khatuna Lorig, along with Texas A&M rising star Michelle Gilbert and Jeremiah Cusick.

From August 19-24, he will also be one of three staff coaches at the World Archery Field Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. This will be a full team comprised of some the most talented juniors and seniors.
