BRATISLAVA -- Columbia fencing standout Jackie Dubrovich continued her successful career with a gold medal finish in women's foil at the Bratislava Junior World Cup on Saturday.

The sophomore defeated the entire pool of 142 fencers to earn the top spot on the podium.

"It is very exciting to have a program that not only has some of the strongest college fencers, but some of the best fencers in the world!" said Columbia head coach Michael Aufrichtig.

Dubrovich was joined by two of her Columbia  teammates among the top performers. First-year Sara Taffel finished seventh, while sophomore Margaret Lu came in 15th place.
