NEW YORK - The Columbia field hockey team will wrap up its 2013 season this Sunday, Nov. 10 when they take on Harvard at noon on Senior Day.

SENIOR DAY ON TAP
Prior to Sunday’s contest, Columbia will celebrate the careers of seniors Danielle Cosentino, Liz Malone and Creaghan Peters. All three have been key contributors for the Lions the past four seasons.
LAST TIME OUT...
Columbia fell to Yale, 3-1, last Friday night. The teams combined for a total 45 shots, including 27 on net. The Bulldogs scored three unanswered goals to take control of the game before Anna Scipioni broke up the shutout bid with a late penalty stroke goal.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard blanked Vermont, 4-0, on Sunday to improve to 7-9. Prior to that, the Crimson fell to Dartmouth to bring their Ivy League mark to 1-5.
Marissa Balleza leads the club with 27 points (12 G, 3 A), while Elizabeth Jacobson has a team-high four assists. In goal, Jenn Hatfield has started all 16 games and has a 2.02 GAA with a .733 save percentage and a pair of shutouts.
LAST YEAR VS. HARVARD
Columbia edged Harvard, 3-2, last season on the road. Katie DeSandis scored twice and the Lions held off a late Crimson rally to pick up the win.

After dropping the first 10 meetings against Harvard, the Lions have won six-straight in the all-time series.
