Field Hockey Closes Out Spring Season at Home Sunday
NEW YORK – Columbia field hockey’s spring season culminates this weekend when they host their annual “Play Day” this Sunday, April 21 at the Baker Athletics Complex.
The Lions will welcome Rutgers, Fairfield, Yale, Quinnipiac and Albany to the Columbia Field Hockey Venue for abbreviated 25-minute games.
“After a productive season, we are looking to close our spring on a positive note against quality competition,” head coach Marybeth Freeman said. “Finishing the season at home along side our family and fans will make for an exciting day, but most importantly, we will be able to see the amount we have grown since the beginning of spring. I’m proud of what the women have learned this season and how they have extended themselves outside their comfort zones to see what they are capable of doing. I know everyone is looking forward to Sunday!”

9:30 a.m. - vs. Fairfield
