NEW YORK - The Columbia heavyweight rowing team will take on Rutgers on Saturday, March 24 in its first race of the northern part of its spring schedule. The race is set to begin at 9:50 a.m. in New Brunswick, N.J. on the banks of the Raritan River.
Columbia is returning from two wins against Florida Tech and Jacksonville at the annual Governor's Cup regatta in Fellesmere, Florida last Saturday. "This was a great trip," Columbia heavyweight head coach Zimmer said after the races last weekend. "We got a lot better."
Temperatures are forecasted to be in the 50s with rain in the forecast later in the morning in New Jersey.
