NEW YORK - Columbia's heavyweight rowing team will compete for the Childs Cup with Princeton and Penn this Saturday, April 7 beginning at 10:25 a.m. on Princeton's Lake Carnegie.
The oldest trophy in collegiate rowing, the Childs Cup will be contested for the 101st time in its history. The last time the Childs Cup took place on Lake Carnegie, Columbia was victorious in 2009.
Columbia is returning from a victory over MIT, Dartmouth and Holy Cross in last week's Alumni Cup at Orchard Beach.
