Heavyweights to Challenge Yale and Penn for the Blackwell Cup on Saturday

NEW YORK – On Saturday, April 16, Columbia will take on Yale and Penn on the Housatonic River in Derby, Conn. where the Blackwell Cup will be at stake. 

The race is a joint race with the lightweights from Columbia, Yale and Penn racing for the Dodge Cup.  Columbia narrowly missed reclaiming the Childs Cup in its last time out against Princeton and Penn, falling just a few seconds short of the Tigers in the varsity eight race.
