NEW YORK - Ranked 19th in the country, Columbia's women's rowing team will compete in the inaugural Ivy League Championships this Sunday, May 13 on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

It is the first time that the Ivy League will hold a championship regatta to determine the winner of the league title. The winner of the varsity eight race will earn the Ivy League title and bolster its resume for an at-large bid to the NCAA championships.

The Ivy League Championships replace the Women's Eastern Sprints regatta, which no longer exists in its previous incarnation. Beginning in 2013, the winner of the Ivy League will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships.

JAMCO will provide live results and split times of the regatta. Stretch Internet is also providing live audio coverage of Sunday's races. The full schedule of events and directions are listed below.
