Women's Rowing Returns from Two-Week Break to Face Brown and Cornell for the Dunn Bowl

NEW YORK – Columbia women's rowing will return from a two-week break from racing to take on Brown and Cornell for the Dunn Bowl in Providence, R.I. on Saturday, April 23.  The first race begins at 11:55 a.m. and racing continues throughout the early afternoon.

In its last time out, Columbia won 12 of 13 races to once again capture the women's championship of the George Washington Invitational Regatta, and carried the United States colors to victory when its varsity eight triumphed over Oxford University in the inaugural Potomac Challenge Cup, during the weekend of April 9-10.

In last year's Dunn Bowl, Columbia edged out Cornell for the runner-up spot as Brown came in first place in the varsity eight race.  The complete schedule of events follows:

11:10 a.m. Second Varsity Eights
11:30 a.m. Varsity Fours A
11:50 a.m. Varsity Fours B
