Women's Rowing Heads to Princeton to Take on Tigers and Virginia
NEW YORK - The Columbia women's rowing team will take to the waters of Lake Carnegie in Princeton to face off against their Ivy League foe Tigers and Virginia on Saturday morning.
The task does not get easier for the Lions, who were denied the Connell Cup last weekend against Penn and Yale. Princeton checks in at No. 7, while Virginia is No. 3 in the latest CRCA/USRowing Poll.
The Tigers won three of five races over Brown to kick-off the spring season to reclaim the Class of 1975 Trophy, while the Cavaliers came away with a victory over sixth-ranked USC.
