2012-13: Exploded onto the Ivy League scene with the 17th fastest 200 butterfly time in the country, good for 2nd place at the Ivy League Championships. Also picked up Second-Team All-Ivy League honors leading off the 800 freestyle relay and in the 100 butterfly, placed 4th in the 400 and 200 medley relays, and finished 10th in the 200 backstroke. Finished as Columbia's third-highest individual point scorer, contributing 73 points in his individual events.

2011-12: At the 2012 Ivy League Championships, he placed 3rd in the 800 freestyle relay, 4th in the 200 butterfly, and won the consolation final of the 100 butterfly, placing 9th with the 5th fastest time of the day, as well as the bonus final of the 500 freestyle, finishing 17th.
