Trudi Patrick Represents Jamaica At Commonwealth Games

NEW YORK-This summer, Trudi Patrick has thrived in the pool representing Jamaica in national competition. Last week, the sophomore had some impressive performances in the butterfly events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Scotland. The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games is comprised of 6,500 athletes and officials from 71 nations and territories that compete in 17 sports over 11 days.

Patrick swam in the women’s 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly events in Glasgow. In the 50m, she clocked in with a time of 28.78 to finish first in the heat. Patrick’s time of 1:02.85 in the 100m fly ranked sixth in her heat and her time of 2:21.28 ranked seventh in the heat.
