NEW YORK - The Columbia women's swimming and diving team is coming off one of its most successful seasons in program history. The 2011-12 season saw the Lions take home five Ivy League titles and capture a top 25 finish in the NCAA Championships. The head coach of Columbia women's swimming Diana Caskey, is hopeful that the 11-member Class of 2016 will add to the Columbia success this winter.

"I'm so proud of our prior year's team for investing themselves in the recruiting process. From beginning to end, recruiting the Class of 2016 has been a team endeavor. We are beyond excited for each of the swimmers that will join us next month. They have maturity, poise, and drive beyond their years, and they will contribute to our efforts to improve on our 6-1 Ivy record from last season. I know that each of them is on board as we shoot for a team Ivy title."
