GREENSBORO, N.C. - For the second consecutive season, Harrison McFann has earned his place at the NCAA Championships after a qualifying finish in the men’s 800m highlighted the second day of action at the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships East Preliminary Round for Columbia.
McFann finished with a time of 1:49.32 in Heat 2 to grab the final qualifying time. The junior will compete against the nation's best in the 800m semifinals to be held in Eugene, Oregon. The top three finishers from each heat of the quarterfinals advance to the NCAA Championships, plus the next three best times.
