PHILADELPHIA –The Columbia track & field team returned for the final day of the Penn Relays on Saturday, April 26. The Lions kicked-off the afternoon with a top performance in the men’s 4xMile Championship of America relays.

The quartet of Tim Cousins, Daniel Everett, Brendon Fish and John Gregorek combined for a sixth-place time of 16:22.88. Gregorek anchored the foursome with a squad-best time of 4:02.0.

Columbia also added a seventh-place finish in the 4x800m Championship of America relay. The tandem of Denzel Woode, Harrison McFann, Robert Napolitano and Connor Claflin clocked in with a time of 7:25.90.

The Lions will be back on the track on Saturday, May 3 at the Elite Meet in Princeton, N.J.
