Squash Ousted In Main Draws of CSA National Championships

PHILADELPHIA - On Saturday, March 1, the Columbia squash program had three players back in action for day two of the 2013 College Squash Association Individual National Championships. Despite tough play across the board, the Lions were ousted from the main draws.

Ramit Tandon reached the semi-finals in the Pool Trophy (A Division) after a morning win over  Neil Coredell in straight games, 11-2, 11-2, 11-2. Tandon went on to fall in the semi-finals match to second-seeded Amr Khalifa, 11-5, 11-7, 11-5.

Joshua Sekhar dropped his morning match in the Molloy Cup (B Division), 11-9, 11-5, 16-4. Grace van Arkel also fell in straight games to Shiyuan Mao, 11-4, 11-4, 11-5.
