Men's Squash Ranked No. 12 In Preseason CSA National Poll

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Columbia men's squash team has been selected 12th in the Dunlop Men's College Squash Association preseason poll, as announced by CSA Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Columbia will begin the 2013-14 season with the same ranking it concluded the previous season with.  A fourth-place finish in the Hoehn Cup (B Division) concluded the Lions third varsity season. Columbia reached a season best No. 9 ranking en route to a 8-10 overall record.

Junior Ramit Tandon garnered his second consecutive first team All-American honor last year. The two-time first team All-Ivy League selection finished in the top eight at the 2013 CSA Individual National Championships to represent the Lions.

Columbia returns 12 student-athletes from the 2012-13 squad along with a group of four talented newcomers to make up this year’s team. The Lions will open the season with a home match against No. 19 George Washington on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m.
